  First of all I have to say that "IF" is a tiny word with a huge meaning. With almost any accident of any kind there's an if involved - if the other car hadn't turned, if the pedestrian hadn't walked out in front etc etc.
  You can just as easily get stuck in a front seat as a back seat, with or without four doors. In a two door car the front seats fold forward so a person could be grabbed and pulled out from the back. In the case of a fire I would think it would be safer to concentrate on putting that out first anyway.
  However - if you are first aid trained Vic then you should know that unless a persons life is threatened you should never move them yourself. By doing so you could cause more damage or even death. You should always support and immobolise the neck by holding it in place then leave the person alone and just talk to them until a paramedic arrives, asking their name and getting some details can help the professionals when they arrive, specially if the patient has become unconscious. By moving them yourself you risk internal bleeding, worsening of any damage done already and in the case of a spinal injury untold damage.
  You would do well to retake your first aid exams, you should refresh every three years anyway, and realise that heroics are only good if you know what you are doing.
  Finally I agree with PaulB and the others - another one of your fanatical ramblings is not what we need on our excellent magazine.
  Incidentally, I know these things because my husband is a qualified first aid trainer/assessor with 25 years experience.
