  "The Canterbury Belle" steam tour passes through Dover today hauled by West Country class loco "Braunton."
  
  Deal 1729, Dover Priory 1744-1749, Folkestone Central 1806.

  Braunton was ten minutes late and hurtled through Dover Priory at great speed so was only able to catch a quick rather unsatisfactory snap which does not do justice to this magnificent machine.

  Went down to Shakespeare Beach for Britannia class "Oliver Cromwell" passing through on Sunday. Quite a lot of people on the footbridge which is another good viewpoint.   Good to see those train pictures for sure. Always a joy...there is something totally enchanting about trains.
  Where did I put that anorak! ?

  I apologise for the soundtrack which is dominated by my granddaughters taking the mickey out of me, seen here afterwards underneath our viewing platform which I think is probably the shore end of the sewage outfall!
