I'm seriously considering voting for UKIP at the next General Election, for the simple reason that continued British membership of the EU is something I believe to entirely undemocratic. Yes, UKIP is a one-policy party, but it's a policy that should be uppermost in our minds; the Labour party have reneged on manifesto pledges for referenda on this and handed sovereignty to Brussels, something I believe to be the biggest disgrace in our nation's history, and the Conservatives are conspicuous by their silence in condemnation of this.
I'm not anti-Europe, but I'm very opposed to not letting the people have a free and open debate on the subject, followed by a referendum on whether continued British membership should happen. It's something I never thought I would hear myself saying, but come the spring I fear I may hear myself saying"Vote for Vic Matcham"!!!
