    I certainly hope the local businesses do well - whether gift shops like Curiosity of Dover, the card shops I'm sure will do well and La Senza must do well with their ranges.

    Restaurants like the Carpathian are offering a good meal for Valentines and it's always good food and value there. Even Marine Court are offering Valentine's meals for £14.

    I did send round an email about the Ramada's special offers; it seemed so good that it was over 3 days, just in case one half couldn't make it. I liked the overnighter for £99.
