Tomorrow i send out invoices - or do I do it monday. Anyway according to the govt notice I have received I have to account for all work done for the last month at 17.5% - OR - if I invoice on Monday then I can apportion the last 14 days at 15%! That will take some hours and that will really make my return next quarter quite complicated. - let alone that when we do year end the complication is as bad.
Then reverse that all in 18 months. Accountants heaven!
In National Government is some poor Humphrey trying to make up rules to make a Ministers decision work - Just like HIPS they dont appreciate the practicalities - or just dont care.
