    Quite right Phil, plus the very real and constant danger of folks bringing their memory sticks to work and plugging them into their company laptop or PC.

    Problems like these really do highlight the absolute ignorance of senior management about things IT related, yet they still think they know better than us professionals.

    I sometimes think the pressure to train employees is the wrong pressure. Management, particularly in the UK, is so poor at many things the investment should be made there first. Often I see good employees being lead by imbeciles who think they know everything, but rarely do.

    Until we change that dynamic we will fail to be as successful as we ought.
