    I heard a piece on the radio this morning about Michael Morpurgo writing a new book inspired by Walter Tull. He said the the Imperial War Museum wanted to make a statue of Walter Tull but the local council declined an offer to site it - perhaps this could be the ideal use for the seafront plinth!
