Linda I do the London to Brighton bike ride but not this year because of a new knee,if yo do not mind me telling you,I feel you do not need a exercise bike what you need to do is get out on the road and bike building up the miles as you do it.I can tell you there are two very long and big hills to get up ,I just get off my bike at the last one it goes on for about two miles there are so many of you that at some places you will get on better walking My best time is just over the four hours but if you have not done it before just take your time and when you come to the run in at Brighton do not go to fast down the hill one year there was a big crash with lots going to the hos. But geting out on the road is the thing to do up and down hills and look out for the pot holes the exercise bike can not do the same as geting out on the bike on the roads. Vic Matcham
