i would seriously suggest that your son saves up enough to get one in argos for about 200 quid, second hand ones are not a money saver.
the shop in castle st/market square sell them with a 3 month guarantee which is next to useless.
i know someone that bought one and it broke down once during the guarantee period then immediately afterwards.
