I have just filled the cellars with cheap beer and wine and pepsi so all we need is the sausages - and maybe some rolls and stuff -I have sent out the messenger for colin and the squeezebox and we are ready for the 3rd July.
I have been contemplating the rules of engagement in my spare time and suggest that we chop up cooked sausages on plates and everyone votes for their favourite by initialling beside it. It means that we must limit the number of sausage suppliers and will need about 2lbs per type if everyone wants a try. Oh yeh and some pickle or strong sauce for Pauls entry!!!
After that I only need to know the contestants, currently PaulB, tom and I and arrange a security team and a head judge/ arbitrator to ensure fair play.
I do believe in proper consultation and public involvement - so how about being the head judge Colette?
Then we need a prize??????? Suggestions on a knapkin...
