I attended last night (have attended for four out of five years)

In those four years Gwyn never attended so why a different attitude that Charlie should. As mentioned by both Chris and Barry W the issues are at Westminster and was no doubt why Gwyn didnt attend in the past. Also the MP has dialogue with the DHB.

Anyway the meeting well attended and the usual PR activity for DHB.

However one major item that if it goes ahead is of great news for those that suffer the congestion/polution on Townwall Street. The DHB are looking at creating a holding area with the port for approx 300 lorries.

Also I am pleased that an item I raised in correspondence with the Sec of State re capacity within Eastern Docks is being looked at as Berth 5 is not compatible to most of the current tonnage that uses the Port and with modification would increase the berthing capacity available.
