Truly, a town is often judged on its "host" abilities, and loos are a vital part of that. I love going back to Ireland, but the state of the public loos (when you can find them) puts people off visiting town centres and the smaller towns - I am just glad I am related in some way to huge quantities of people and can justifiably knock on a door and ask to use their loo!!!! That, or I am forced to go to the pub and have a drink in order to justify using their facilities. Terrible!
