Digressing slightly and prompted by Ed, when Hospital Radio first became a registered charity it went via KCC, as was the case then. Or certificate was also printed on "War Substitute Paper". It proudly stated that we were registered under the War Charities Act 1940 and the National Assistance Act 1948. This was in 1970 I hasten to add! Sadly, I no longer have the document, someone pinched it off the wall!
