Right answer for the wrong reason John. When I took the picture on Wednesday the flagpole on the right was flying a three lions flag. Before that it was the RAF flag and before that the Union Flag upside down. I did refer to it here a while ago and Brian spoke about it in the town.
As to the phone box, I never said it was a working one.
Box extreme left, flagpole extreme right now flying St George's flag!
BTW The box in Savoy Place was painted and maintained by the IEE by permission of the GPO.
