Thanks everyone for your kind comments and best wishes.I ventured out to the Beer Festival on Saturday and within minutes a flock of forumites gathered around me to chat and enquire about my health etc.We then got down to the serious business of drinking and gossip.
As I stood at the bar surrounded by knowledgeable bearded beer drinkers busily making notes on their favourite tipple I felt somewhat of an impostor as I ordered my third pint of Double Vision Cider out of a cardboard cask.
But thanks everyone for your kind and truly appreciated messages.After extensive tests ,prods and scans it would appear that I am on the road to recovery.
