Michelle says that Archers Court wasn't a farm, Scotchie - not sure what it was though. Apparently there were four 'courts' in Whitfield of which she knows only two, Archers Court and Sparrow Court.
I've been asked to pass on her thanks for all this, it really is great stuff (as Sid says). It seems this thread is actually a goldmine of history, and a great deal of thanks goes to those who have dug all this up.
