Sure, Dover certainly has more to offer in terms of history and that is something that sets us apart from others and indeed we should be shouting that from the rooftops and rightly so. However, in this commercial climate that we all live in today we also need all these super duper shops to make a huge difference. If we had all the shops that Canterbury have, Dover would definitely win hands down. We may not be a city with a Fabulous Cathedral but we do have our Fabulous Castle, White Cliffs, Seafront, Pier, Marina, Ferries, Cruise Ships and more. With an array of spectacular shops we would certainly be in the running as one of the best.
