Ah jeez BarryW you are straining credibility there re saying the Prime Minister was lying. It was nothing more than a slip. I did indeed myself see PMQ's and saw the previous time with David Cameron and the schools finance issue.

David Cameron went on the attack using figures that were wrong and as a consequence his whole attack was askew and irrelevent. He has since apologised for getting it wrong. Fair enough.

The PM today said Spain was part of the G20 but it was a slip, an error, it wouldnt be termed in anyones book as 'lying to the house'. He makes the odd slip like that doesnt he, as is well known, but dont we all. His fallibility is probably part of the reason Labour are experiencing a hint of revival, albeit a small one.

Spain actually attend G20 summits...but for some reason are not paid up members. Hence the slip.

I thought Gordon Brown did rather well today..he brought lots of guffaws and rallying cheers from his backbenchers which wasnt always the case previously.
