Congratulations to Woolworths on their return to business. Minus any real shops, their new store is 100% virtual at woolworths.co.uk and they haven't returned half-heartedly. The site is packed to the rafters with all the usual stuff that Woolies were famous for - games, DVDs, electrical goods, toys, and YES!!!! A digital PICK N MIX.
They do seem to have dropped a lot of their old tat (I was not able to find any ironing board covers or dusters but hey, it's early days). I miss Woolies in Dover and this is a welcome return of an old familiar shop and I am pleased to say that they've done extremely well with their new online effort.
It's comforting too - Xmas just isn't Xmas without Woolies!
