No problem at all there Rick, yes I saw something about Woolworths being back on the web. I think it was advertised on TV as a christmas initiative. Yes everyone had a kind of affection for Woolworths...you remember buying to toys for the kids and the sweets for yourself..and so on. But as with all these things we simply didnt use it enough, there wasnt enough footfall through the doors in the end and the giant went crashing down.
I wonder what ever happened to that woman who opened a Woolworths mark II in one English Town. She was a former manager of Woolworths so knew the buyers, the staff and so on, and made a stab at re-creation. She was featured on the news but I wonder... did it work out!? Its very difficult for single stores nowadays without the support of a chain.
