    I believe this tax is levied by KCC as they own the pavements.

    I wrote to just about every one I could, including KCC officers, the Cabinet there and other Councillors and bodies, but didn't get one reply (sounds familiar ?).

    I do think that to enhance our pedestrian areas, the cost could be reduced per table and chair - say 1 to 5 whatever; 6 to 10 tables is so much; then 11 to 20 a slightly different amount and so on, but keep it fair and realistic - to help the Towns and the businesses.

    Every business needs to make a profit.
