There is yet another report on soldiers out this morning. Just been listening to it on the TODAY programme R4. It is quite shocking. 10% of the population of prisons is made up of former soldiers. 20% of the people currently in the criminal justice system is made up of former soldiers.. meaning those waiting to be found guilty, not guilty, waiting for sentencing etc

Clearly our armed forces have real problems adjusting to civilian life after they have been through the riquors of these foreign wars. In these wars they experience horrors that you and I will never see and Im just wondering just how much mental rehab they get when their time is up.

Although some are very obviously physically wounded, some are wounded mentally...and its not that easy to see. But is prison the right place for them??
