    I think Paul Watkins has been officially in touch with the newspapers this week forewarning people that there are cuts coming. I doubt if the Parish Councils could fork up much to the shortfall...and I never really know just how much the Town Council actually contributes overall.

    I think when you see this sabre rattling in advance, it usually means they are softening up the public to accept cuts. With the almost inevitability of widespread Tory rule on the cards there seems nothing in place to stop the advancement of the blue machine.
