I beleive I have read that Facebook is also for goverment snooping and log faces on systems for future. All information about you is gathered - your friends, family, where you go who you go with. Your date of birth, your phone number if your stupid enough to give it- they know what you eat where you eat - they know your husband, wife, girlfriend, boyfriend- when your going out-where you work and so on an so on. Facebook is a big brothers dream come true all information just given freely. Everyone official is on facebook watching and looking. Most have rights of entry into your facebook even when you got it on private. Everywhere where puplic post they are being snooped on by snoopy sniffer dogs.

Of course you are, my bright little star,
I've miles and miles of files -
Pretty files, of your forefather's fruit.
And now to suit our great computer,
You're magnetic ink.

I'm trying to remember where I heard that, might have been on a Moody Blues album.

Facebook and Google don't have my mobile number but listed out all the stuff I have watched on Netflix recently.
Netflix have neither my landline or mobile number just an E mail address.

If you are using Windows 10 OS Howard your every move is being tracked and you may find on your profile that your house is pin pointed on a map. You need to go into your privacy settings and turn off some of the default settings.
The Wi Fi hotspots, including those on public transport, are open to anyone who cares to snoop too.
If anyone uses the 'Pay At The Pump' facilities in petrol stations they should be aware that the card details that are passed from the pump to the office are not encrypted in most cases and are open to abuse by scammers.
At one petrol station that uses this system my central locking and automatic mirrors were turned on and off whilst I was in the office paying as the Wi Fi frequency was within the same range!
It has also been known for scanners being used to intercept the info too. It is also possible to use a scanner to block remote control locking in car parks to prevent car locks from operating to enable thieves to access your vehicle .

My wife has just checked her location history, and the photographs she took of the camper have come up as thumbnails in the appropriate position in the history. Another day shows all the shops she went into, even including the chippy.
If the old bill ever ask you where you were at a certain time/day, all you would need to do would be to check your google travel history for a reasonable alibi...or not ?

I always check settings and ensure GPS and location services are switched of, apart from the added privacy it saves a heck of a lot of battery power.

It also helps you avoid a whole lot of misery if your other half gets access to your location history!!

Never mind your mobile telephone.
When you stand in the precinct looking at the street map of the area there is a big arrow saying "YOU ARE HERE". Proof that they are watching your every move.
