Wonderful quote from this dipstick of a Chief Constable "the last time we had riots in Kent was 1870",we must have imagined those masked marauders lobbing paving slabs at each other a couple of years back.

What a stupid thing to say, maybe not as bad as London but that explains the woeful policing we seem to get in this area, our insular Chief Constable does not remember we even exist.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

Your correct Howard
We or he shouldn't play down the way the town was intimidated on those marches
I'm still of the opinion the left and right should not have been able to be in same area the same day and time
But I questioned this with one of my local cllrs who told me there is no left wing. And those in market square were non violent (I don't think lobbing paving slabs to be non violent or is that p C now?

Perhaps he thought that they were on a job training scheme Howard, demonstrating that the art of ‘crazy paving’ laying could be done by anyone, anywhere.......hence the masks!

Do nothing and nothing happens.
