Have you ever written or tried to write a book?
Dear Forumers,
I was wondering if any forumers have ever tried to write, or have actually written, a book of any kind. Do you think it is worth the effort? I know there is a saying that "everyone has a book in them". And a lot of people get an idea for a book. Many try to write one but give up, perhaps because it is just too difficult or time-consuming.
If you have written a book did you send it to a publisher? I have written a novel after I did a creative writing course, but it was probably just a one-off thing and I basically doubt if I would write another one. It would be interesting to hear the thoughts and experiences of forumers on this subject.

Is there a pothole thereabouts or just an AI spouting for attention?
Being a starter of many new threads in such a clinical way is unusual behaviour for a person and somehow resembles Sophia don’t you think?
TTFN.
P.S. I think ray hutstone was probably right in a previous thread that he replied to.

Hi Veronika,
Good response from you, proving that transaction analysis still functions!!
In reply to your question, I must admit to have written a few manuals and bulletins for companies over the years and also something for the family archives.
I cannot claim anything like the fiction that you have produced and was impressed by your efforts at publishing identical tomes with three different titles! Did this produce the extra sales that you were maybe looking for?
A “Nick Clogg statue outside Parliament, characters like Mrs Hatcher, Tony Brown, an uprising in the U.K. and a national meltdown by 2030?”… What imaginative writing!!
Obviously being on a public forum I am unable to mention titles and assist your efforts in spreading the word as that would be deemed free advertising but you can always ask for a quote.

I was right. Just ignore this sort of guff. I find it ironic that I got banned from this forum for expressing a valid opinion, which has since been vindicated, yet this sort of morons' fascination continues to garner posts. Then again, this forum is pretty dead. Facebook! Bah!

Dear Bob Whysman,
Firstly, your comment that I have published "identical tomes with three different titles" in order to produce extra sales is not true.
I have written and published one book but I just decided that I preferred an alternative title, so I changed it. And they are not identical tomes with different titles, as I have also revised the contents.
Secondly, you are commenting on the writing in the book without actually reading any of it.
Thirdly, I am not a troll or internet bot as has been suggested, that is why I have put a recent photo of myself in this forum. A real, actual photo believe it or not.

FFS Reggie, why do you continue to bite? And the word is legitimacy.

I think Reggie published the thought as he saw it which would then be possibly the correct word:

Dear Reginald Barrington,
You can see the photo properly Reginald, and another one, on Amazon, if photos are important to you. Just search for and click on my name. Have a nice day.

Dear Bob Whysman,
Yes I have written some posts in that forum. It seems to be a quite receptive place for open debate and discussion, so I have written threads there on various different subjects.

Can't say I have, VO. However, I do tend to think that we're living in a Frederick Forsyth novel.

Careful Button, you'll have Ray belittling you if you carry on and God knows there's not enough room in his head for two squatters!
