I have drank tea and prefer it to the 'coffee' in a greasy-spoon-cafe. I did get a little above myself a few years ago and set-up a percolator with a timer switch to fill the house with the smell of coffee first thing, but now confine myself to two cups of two-spoons of the regular instant stuff.
The one time I ventured into a coffee-bazaar I felt the need for a coffee-counsellor, but instead settled for a 'hidden' black coffee which, on inspection, seemed to be a cup of water that had once met a bean in passing.
Coffee for $1?
Is it not more famously coffee for 90c? Hence the expression "Here's you nickel back", which in turn gave rise to the name of a popular beat-combo, Nickelback?
