#4 Not so, Howard. My arguments are based upon the laws which we have come to understand that govern the universe. Specifically, in this case, that speed beyond that of light is unattainable.
Personally, I have no doubt that other life exists. Logic tells us that, even within the constraints (if you can call them that) of our own galaxy.
The issue at stake here is whether other life has visited us in some tangible way. Of that, there is not one shred of evidence. Nor is there any explanation as to how the immense distances involved could have been overcome.
There's a great deal of serious thought on this subject by some of our most renowned physicists and cosmologists available on the internet. I'm merely echoing their conclusions.
