"The white poppy remembers all who are killed in war - including victims"
Surely everyone who dies be they service personnel or civilian they are all "victims".
I wear my red poppy to remember all who died in conflict but especially those who have no family to remember them.

the purple one is in rememberance of the animals that died during ww1,horses mules etc.
I was in belguim on Friday while eating lunch at hooge museam a coach party of school kids came in wearing hoodies with white poppies printed on the back with some sort of wording along with the childs name.

keith, its down to personal preference, as I've said the purple one is for the remberance of animals, horses / mules etc.
