How many times over the years have you heard me say this I was in boxing over 30 years first as a boxer then 15 years as a trainer they keep on about rights for all,but what about rights for the unborn baby, I closed a boxing club down because the K.A.B.A, told me I must put women in the ring if they want to box.I said yes to them training but no to them boxing, keep punching a lady in the tummy and it could stop them having a baby at some point, same they should no take part in kick boxing.I have been told Vic "Women should be free to make up their own mind." But the unborn baby has no one. I do not mean to upset women but when you are young and a girl you do not think about 10years time when A Dr turns round and tells you sorry but because of the damge done to your tummy you can not have a family. And as a boxing trainer years go I would not let young girls box.

I believe getting pleasure out of people belting hell out of each other is in my opinion only for idiots even though it might be a good way of keeping fit. Vic's views are totally sexist.
Having said that does the rule of not hitting below the belt no longer apply? Maybe Vic needs a biology lesson regarding the female anatomy. Using Vic's reasoning women should not take part in any of the martial arts just in case they are unable to have children. I notice it ok for men to indulge in sports that just might affect their reproductive capabilities.

I should think abseiling is more likely to terminate you.
In answer to the Captain I remember cycling being mentioned in the past also any tight underwear.

Unfortunately Mother Nature is unashamedly sexist in only providing females with the equipment to bear children, and only providing males with the equipment to fertilise the eggs produced by the females.
Obviously not an accident as such attributes are (largely) not confined to the human race.
Boxing at the professional level is a pointless and dangerous activity as participants are bound to suffer brain damage in the end. At any level it trains people in aggression.

The training is good for both sex,s if it is done right and by a person who is trained themself in doing it ,it took me a long time to go from boxer to trainer.
there are a lot of sports that all can take I loved biking and many more but boxing, kick boxing, and rugby should be men only.

Sure women shouldn't box 'professionally'; men neither. But women should certainly do some martial arts: some men do like to box outside the ring after all.

My great-grandaughter does Taekwondo once a week and absolutely loves it.

It surprises me that boxing is even legal in this day and age.

I dont care what anyone says woman should remain at home with children, cooking cleaning, keeping home in order- its the biggest and most important job a woman can have.
The changes bought in for woman have destroyed a' perfect family nest' and by the way we are Animals and as such should behave. You dont see other animals setting themselves up to be punched in stomach and titties - I agree with Vic woman getting out of their prams too much wanting everything a man does just to bloody prove something and that is what it is- SIMPLE.
Where would I like my mum:
In a ring being punched like a rag doll
At home with a warm house and good food.
If only everyone could be kind and honest what a better world we would be in.

Totally agree, although seahorses appear to have come to a different solution. Ban the monstrous regiment from fora such as this and definitely keep them out of politics given that men can do it so much better (an example escapes me for the moment).
Frankly, if only everyone could be kind and honest and male, what a better world we would be in. Admittedly food would be burned because bringing different ingredients to completion at the same time requires multi-tasking, but you can't have everything.
Minor snag - who's going to tell my Mum?

1,000,000 years in the future the human race may have evolved into something like the black widow spider or the praying mantis, thus proving that the male of the species is only good for one thing.
