I LIKE YOUR SELFS feel so sorry for what is happing at this time to all familys around the world.
I think the C/Church are wrong in saying we are not doing a lot in the way of aid.
What is wrong with the REST of the UN and THE EU .
Why must the USA and the UK take the blame as well as giving most of the aid .
Why are rest of the world standing buy and doing nothing to help out.

Sometimes it is good we help, sometimes it works out bad.
I think the UN and the EU should have more balls and either fight for what is right around the World, or just send aid.
At the moment I believe that much more effort should be given to stop the IS group in Iraq and if a concerted effort from the UN and EU had been given, the Taliban could have been destroyed. Gaza and Israel are also a case in point.
We (the USA and Britain) cannot be the World's Police and Food-bank alone. Having said that, we must be very careful about where we put troops on the ground.

It is right that we should shoulder much of the blame and do more than our share to help those afflicted, as many of the world's troublespots have historic British Empire fingerprints all over them. Palestine, Kashmir, Afghanistan, Iraq, Jordan, Sudan, even the Balkans (Yalta). And not forgetting Northern Ireland. In most cases it arose from British officials drawing arbitrary boundaries on maps, boundaries which were not recognised by the inhabitants, and without the British understanding that the people we were fencing in within these boundaries did not even understand the concept of a nation-state. It's now payback time.

While I agree about the boundary lines that is no excuse for the evil way thes fanatics treat so many of their fellow countrymen in the so called name of religion.

I think this ISIS crowd have to be stopped at all costs otherwise they will commandeer most of the middle east and turn it into one caliphate. They clearly see genocide of dissenters as part of their modus operandi.
Dropping aid to the Yazidis will merely keep them alive a bit longer.
