  Those migrant farm workers like Raul are only a fraction better than slaves and this situation has been highlighted for quite a few years but nothing ever seems to be done about it.
  
  I remember seeing a programme ages ago where the living conditions looked far worse than those of the pre-war hop pickers. The migrant workers featured by the time they had "paid" for food and accommodation (a wooden shed) were left with virtually nothing, all run by gang masters like now.
