    This is fantastic. They simply don't exist yet having dug themselves this deep already, they continue to dig. Found this on Twitter which I think is pretty much spot on:

    Govt: We've made some delicious cakes
    Parliament: We would like to see those cakes
    Govt: We've been very clear that the cakes exist in the form of flour, eggs, sugar and butter. It will take time to bring together those ingredients we do have in the way you're asking for. We just need to pop out to the shops.
