Good God, the man must dream in Euros! It's £35-£39 billion.
And since it covers Britain's share of the EU's budget up to the end of 2020, as well as outstanding debts and liabilities for items such as the pensions of staff at European institutions, plus it will be paid over several years. The answer is a resounding 'yes'.
Less than four years of membership costs to bring to an end 44 years of subsidising the EU.
In fact I'm so pleased with the figure I'm about to have it painted on the side of a bloody great big red coach and drive it past your house just so I can hear you muttering a Vicky Pollardesque 'Yeah but, no but, the Catain obviously (sic) didn't know what he was voting for and we should have a second referendum' etc ad nauseam.
