  Give it time and what is now a "suggestion" will in fact become diktat.
  From November 1st. 2014 the ability for a member of the superstate will no longer be allowed a veto on many different matters which up until now have been sovereign to individual member states.

  Quite frightening as the bureaucrats give themselves ever more power by stealth.
  
  Taking away the right of veto by individual member states shows an arrogance one would expect of dictators.

  Is it not strange that the Conservatives have kept this little baby (QMV) under their hat? Not a peep from Cameron as he knows the possible consequences of what lies in store post this November.
  Isn't it even stranger that Farage has made no mention of QMV when he's had ample opportunity over the past few months during his party's ascendancy?
  Did he not know about it, tried to conceal it or is he just totally inept?

  The problem is Philip that all four party leaders are career politicians with their own agenda.
  
  Wait until the penny drops with the electorate, all four will react with shock and horror, lamenting the fact they didn't know it was coming.
  
  No wonder nearly two thirds didn't bother to vote the other week.
