and although you clearly want to make a smoke screen to move away from the original heading(understand why) let me quickly just answer the two you raise
although how many other posters get asked direct questioning
good job it's me and i dont care, but as i'v said in other threads if we put people on the spot they just won't post, a though for the futur maybe.
GRAMMAR SCHOOLS;
I have replied to this is earlier threads, but will again, i havre always been opposed to grammar schools it the present form,
and whilst in the labour party had a very big fall out with the leading lights of the local labour party for daring to challenge them.
they wanted to go out on the doorstep opposing them when the chair of the party, the MP at the time, the organiser, all sent children to them.
Igot told "how dare i raise it"
i left the meeting early before i told the person a few home truths and she wouldn't ever speak to me again lol.
that night the chair of the party apologised and accepted my viewpoint.
i raised the issue again and did state i would not go on the doorstep campaigning for such an issue because of the above thats double standards.
and i didn't!!!!!!
ON THE PEOPLES PORT;
The only reason I dont support either is they both dont meet expectations,
D.H.B. is unlikely to change its ways so it will probably much of the same with a tinkering little bit of public participation with little power.
but they will be the likely winners(unless another bidder comes along)
The peoples port gives the impression its a ciommunity run effort when realy it will be funded by bigger business who to get there returns is not going to a few people paying a tenner.
although i marginally feel the peoples port to be the better option.
there now lets hope others are not questioned in such a way
im always happy to give my view(you may have noticed through my few threads lol)
