  The majority of us ladies with a disability will do our utmost to hide that fact when out or in the company of strangers, so I know exactly how Gary's and Roger's respective wives feel.
  
  I am lucky I suppose I have not had to be assessed by a stranger, possibly because my paralysis is not reversible. My daughter-in-law says the benefit lot are tick box doctors, I believe she is still waiting (after about a year) for her appeal to be heard even though her local council have a detailed care plan in place for her.
