I had read that article or something very similar before but the author/s admit that there is no written constitution so no crime was committed.

Having said that Heath should have taken the correct line and asked the people their opinion bearing in mind he knew it wasn't just a free trade zone.

Heath admitted in his memoirs that he knew the real purpose of the Treaty of Rome.

Our constitution may not be written down all in one place but neither is our Common Law.

Tony B. Liar arranged for the main provisions of the various Treason Acts to be repealed on the quiet as part of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998. However no act of Parliament can override the Common Law (e.g. murder or treason cannot be legalised) and therefore in my opinion any actions which seek to undermine the sovereignty of our monarch (and these would include ratification of the Maastrich and Lisbon Treaties) are high treason.

The penalty for high treason under the common law is death by hanging; any acquiescence to a foreign jurisdiction seeking to vary or abolish that penalty would in itself be an act of treason.
