To their credit the paper has done a few articles that have centred on ground down working class communities Patrick which will make uncomfortable reading for their mainly metropolitan liberal dinner party readership. Labour activists in Stoke on Trent, Sunderland and Lincolnshire have drawn a blank when urging people to vote remain. People go by their own experiences when deciding which way to vote, lower wages, longer waits for housing, doctor's and hospital appointments don't affect the comfortably off.
There is a sea change all over the western world in my view where people are rejecting the establishment in favour of populism. I don't know where this will end but the top dogs in the big parties should be held responsible.
