  Bob/Howard,
  its without doubt a major coup for the local Green party
  But His reason's are way off the mark.
  
  Whilst leader of labour he was a bully, and a control freak.
  
  I think in time (if he stays) the Green party will regret this latest move.
  
  I do wonder though with labour in turmoil even before this episode, and he not appearing to have that many buddies inside or outside the party on political lines, if he was aware that May is soon here and he may not get selected/elected.
  I recall after meeting in Deal I was getting a lift home and in a car park he was heard screaming across at me. I refused to speak until he calmed(he didn't) so I went back to the car
  Does he sound like a guy who is bullied?
  I do realise people can change, i'm not convinced in this case, I just think he's finishing his time till May
