    It is a sad state of affairs when we can freely critique and criticise every government/country for their behaviour, policies, treatment of minorities, corruption, ineptitude etc. except Israel..

    if we do that we are accused of being anti Semitic.

    But wait I am not anti Islamic when I criticise Pakistan for shooting down 2 Indian Air Force jets in the disputed area of Kashmir, nor am I anti Hindu or anti Sikh when I criticise India for flying their jets there and inflaming the situation.

    Israel should not have a "get out of jail free card" allowing it to behave abominably to its neighbours and also its Arab and Palestinian natives (ok it does as the USA vetoes every motion critical of Israel at the UN) and we (the rest of the world) should be free to point out this behaviour without the usual accusations
