  The party membership number is not really important unless you think of the funding side but who votes where is all that that really counts.
  
  People from a certain "class" who felt they had to follow and support a particular party are long gone. They are more educated and able to think for themselves, now the high flying boss could be from a cloth cap and council estate background or nobility.
  
  As for the next PM at the moment Starmer is fairly bland as is the present PM and both came from more affluent backgrounds than many of us on here or their their followers. I fail to understand anyone who would choose or prefer someone like either Corbyn or Johnson over the present choices.
