    Did you see Pippa Crerar on TV yesterday morning? Being Mirror and Guardian, she's worth listening to in relation to Labour matters. Her point was that Labour won not so much because of a love in for Labour, but rather, the country had become sick to the back teeth of Tory nonsense.

    I think there's a lot in this, so from a policy perspective, Labour are starting from zero - and this move is not popular. Necessary, perhaps, but not popular. Therefore it will need to be offset - good news will have to follow. We'll get away with the fiscal black hole line for a while - but not that long. I'm sure that will be taken into consideration.
