I am one of the lucky ones who does not rely on the WFA because we went without (holidays etc) so we could have a decent private pension in our old age, I will no longer be able to donate mine to local charity as I did in the past. Luckily everyone will still get that ineffectual £10 Xmas bonus.
As for the NHS we can no longer expect the excellent service we used to get even 10yrs ago unless it is a real emergency, I have not seen a doctor from my practice for years despite having heart failure. I now get an occasional call from their very nice pharmacist who arranges blood pressure and other tests. Poor management from top to bottom is the cause for allowing expensive grandiose schemes that never come to fruition, Nightingale hospitals, destroyed PPE that could have gone to care homes or schools.
