Can he confirm that tackling the small boats crisis will remain top in the new Office of the Prime Minister, because that is what the country wants to see—this Prime Minister getting on with the job?"

Well, my grandmother used to tell tea-leaves but I doubt that even she could have divined that the country wants to see this Prime Minister continuing in office. I thought Baroness Davidson was nearer the mark.

That was a very carefully worded double edged response from Natalie, very concise with an added dig about the boats. Maybe she does want to stand again and finally understands how the public feels about Boris and those who openly fully support him, but wants to keep near him just in case he survives.
