  They did nothing about 'eyetest' Cummings or 'hands, face, arse' Hancock when the facts emerged. Some may be jockeying for position but I see no reason why that should fill anyone with any comfort.
  
  At a local level, I wonder how 'spineless' Natalie will react. She'll probably keep schtum, I suspect. Just keep blaming asylum seekers and the French and she's on a pretty easy wicket.

  
  
  I mean the Labour front bench is now decent. Big hitters in place. There are still good politicians in the Tory party - and Sunak will appoint them. You wouldn't get Nadine Dorries on the front bench, for example.
