Being a "proper" political party, in Parliament, is significantly more challenging than shouting from the sidelines. They need to bridge that gap to make further progress and I will be interested to see if they can do that.

Good heavens, is it? I was under the impression that the very essence of our traditionally yah-boo politics was to shout from and, indeed, to the sidelines!

Given what the 'proper' political parties have done to this country over the last several decades, I can't imagine anyone with any sanity left who would want to be associated with anything resembling one.

What else can we expect when our present lot of politicians put their careers and finances above what is best for the rest of us, sadly I do not think anything will change for a long time.
