ahhhh, but the rug got pulled out from under him and the treaty was ratified making any referendum pointless after the election. Labour and LibDem treachery at work.
Now if people had been sensible and voted Conservative in 2010 instead of UKIP his Eurosceptic credentials would have been tested properly with no hiding place. UKIP is the best friend Europe has, a vote for UKIP is a vote to stay in the EU by getting/keeping Labour and LimpDems in power. We have seen again how their Peers ganged up to block legislation that would have forced the 2017 referendum the Conservative want.

Keith, if Call me Dave had wanted an EU referendum, he'd simply call for one by way of an Act of Parliament, providing he had a Commons majority, without needing to go through the non-elected house of lords.
UKIP say they would have an EU in/out referendum.
BNP would simply boot the EU institution out of Britain on election, without a referendum.
Which of these three options makes sense to you?
Nigel Farage is preparing his party for an alliance with the Tories, he's purging his party of all fruitcakes, has installed PC and is calling anyone who disagrees a crank
He's Dave's new friend. Col. Dave told him to, in return for an iron-cast promise.
Vote UKIP and you'll have the Nasty Party back in with them, and as useful idiots all remaining fruitcakes left in UKIP will go too!
What you would possibly get is a 50,000 a year immigration quota for skilled workers plus their extended families, that's hundreds of thousands a year, all getting British jobs and attached benefits, all buying a house here.
That's what Old Nigel the Crafty is offering now, totally in unison with the Tories.
You're with the wrong party, mate! They've changed!

The entire increase in population is down to immigration, says the man on the film at about 3:30. This must mean that there are no British children being born at all.
Are we really expected to believe that ?

Keith you're being messed around with.
Nigel has changed the policies.
He has set an annual quota for 50,000 immigrant workers a year plus their families.
You're looking at defunct party material that doesn't count any more.
Farage has recently declared the UKIP party agenda "drivel", even though he signed its foreword in the introduction page.
This includes the "5 year immigration freeze".
Keith, google "ukip manifesto 2010", and "error 404" will come up.
It's all been cancelled. UKIP has no manifesto.
Farage is purging the party, it's become a one man show.

And everybody who did not vote Conservative helped get the most Europhile party of all, the LibDems into power. You are actually the one deluding yourself, you and those like you are the best chance Labour and the LibDems have of preventing a referendum and our exit from the EU. You express nothing but ignorance (in the true use of the word) about the Conservative Party, the way it works and its attitudes.

hark at you barry, most of the torys are Europhiles any way.or we would have had a referendum 3 years ago.

Again Brian you do not know what you are talking about. Any government depending on a coalition with the LibDems can get no-where near getting a referendum, or what is more important, get us out of the EU.

People have stopped voting conservative because they remember your arrogance and sleazy governments under Thatcher and Major
People don't want you to govern under an in Europe or out Europe policy's , your party is finished.
If you go out of the south or London voters detest the Tory party,
don't blame ukip , the problem is within your own party.
