It is the right of every EU citizen resident in the UK to vote in all elections.
An in/out referendum is looking more and more appealing every minute. The farther away that day is, the more time UKIP will have to spread its word. That can only be a good thing, but perhaps not in the way UKIP wishes.
IF there is a referendum, and WHEN that vote is won by the 'IN' supporters. You can all crawl back under the rock from whence you came.

I think you will find that only Irish and Commonwealth citizens resident in the UK can vote in general elections and national referendums. Other EU citizens can however vote in the UK in European, local council and Welsh/Scottish/NI assembly elections.

Yes Peter, I left it rather vague, and I am surprised to learn that (non-native) EU residents cannot vote in a GE, but...
"Citizens of the European Union (who are not Commonwealth citizens or Citizens of the Republic of Ireland) can vote in European and local elections in the UK, elections to the Scottish Parliament and Welsh and Northern Ireland Assemblies (if they live in those areas)
and some referendums (based on the rules for the particular referendum) but are not able to vote in UK Parliamentary general elections."

National referendums follow the rules for general elections. Presumably Poles resident in Scotland will be able to vote for secession.
