Having said that, I would suggest that generally 95% of politicos of all parties would fit that bill, not just those involved with the nasty UKIP.

Well JB, that's why I began my post with the words 'as a general point'. I'd say a minimum 5-year residency qualification should knock on the head such disrespectful constituency-hopping and check the sense of entitlement that resides in the psychologies of such roving ne'er-do-wells.
